About the Founder
Uso is a leader in the tech industry and boasts nearly 20 years of experience in technology audit, risk, and consulting services and has worked with one of the big four public accounting firms, a nice regional public accounting firm, and a top 10 fortune 500 company. She has served companies of various sizes including Fortune 500 companies and small to medium sized companies.
Beyond tech, Uso is the CEO of her own event planning company, Karibea Events, and she leads the book and brand efforts for her 11 year old daughter’s company, Elyse So Powerful.
Uso holds two prestigious certifications (CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor and CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and has been a sought-after speaker and writer on industry topics.
Uso is a recognized leader, not just in her professional roles but also as a mentor and coach, guiding peers and younger professionals. Her dedication extends beyond professional pursuits. She's described as a tireless and selfless volunteer.
Uso holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an MBA in Information Systems & Financial Management. She resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband, two children, and Bernedoodle.
